viduaL Warranty repairs must be per-
formed
by an authorized engine manufac-
turer's service outlet.
TO ADJUST
THROTTLE
CONTROL
CABLE
The throttle control has been preset at the
factory and adjustment should not be nec-
essary. Check adjustment as described
below before loosening Cable. If adjust-
'
ment is necessary
proceed as follows:
• With engine not rLnning; move throttle
control lever to fast position.
• Check that swivel is against stop. If it is
not, loosen cable clamp screw and pull
cable back until swivel is against stop.
Tighten cable c_tmp screw securely.
TO ADJUST
CHOKE
CONTROL
The choke control has beeh preset at the
factory and adjustment should not be nec-
essary. Check adjustment'as
descdbed
below before Ioos_ ning cable. If adjust-
ment is necessary, I_.roceed as follows:
• With engine not running, move choke
control (located on dash panel) to full
choke position.
• Loosen knob and remove cover assem-
bly from air cleaner.
• Choke should be closed. If it is not,
loosen casing clamp screw and move
choke cable untilchoke
is completely
closed. Tighten casing clamp screw se-
curely.
• Replace air cleaner cover assembly and
tighten knob.
TO ADJUST
CARBURETOR
Your carburetor is not adjustable.
If your
engine does not operate properly
due to
suspected carburetor probt(_ms, take your
tractor to an authorized
service center for
repair and/or adjustment.

High speed stop is factory adjusted.
Do
not adjust - damage may result.
IMPORTANT: Never tamper with the
engine governor, which is factory set for
proper engine speed. Overspeeding the
engine above the factory high speed set-
ting can be dangerous. If you think the
engine-governed high speed needs
adjusting, contact your nearest AUTHO-
RIZED service center/department, which
has proper equipment and experience to
make any necessary adjustments.
