About the Fax Header

If transmission source information is set in Header setting to be printed, informa-
tion such as the sender's name, fax number, transmission date/time, session
number and page number can be printed by the recipient.
The following items are in the header.

To print the header, specify the transmission source settings with ADMIN.
MANAGEMENT/USER SETTING in the UTILITY menu, and then set FAX
TX OPERATION/HEADER to ON. For details refer to "FAX TX OPERA-
TION" on page 30.
Description
Shows the date/time that the fax was sent. The
time is indicated in the 24-hour format.
Shows the sender's fax number.
Shows the sender's name.
Shows the session number used to manage the
sent fax.
Shows the page number.
Shown as page number/total number of pages.
With a transmission using the telephone or
the On hook key or with a direct transmis-
sion, multiple pages are not shown.
