INSTALLING
BITS FROM MAGAZINE
See Figure 9.
A convenient feature of your drill-driver is the five bit
magazine.Three screwdriver and two drill bits are
included. To install bit from magazine:
Look the switch trigger by placing the direction of
rotation selector in center position. See Figure 5.
Open or close chuck jaws to a point where the
opening is slightly larger than the bit size you
intend to use.
Determine the type of operation, drilling or driving,
then choose the type of bit to use. Note: The
markings next to the bit selector indicate bit
location.
Using bit selecto_ located on the left side of drill-
driver, rotate bit to top of housing. Bit will be visible
in slot in housing and window.
To load bit into chuck, locate lever at back of
housing and rotate in the direction of the arrow as
shown in figure 9. Note: When bit is at top of
housing, the magnetic mechanism inside housing
keeps the bit from falling out of chuck.

Tighten the chuck jaws on drill bit.
To tighten the chuck jaws; grasp and hold the
collar of the chuck with one hand, while rotating
_ the chuck body clockwise with your other hand.
Do not use a wrench to tighten or loosen the
- chuck jaws.
REMOVING
BITS
See Figure 9.
To remove bit from chuck and return to magazine:
Look the switch trigger by placing the direction of
rotation selector in center position. See Figure 5.
Loosen the chuck jaws from drill bit.
To loosen; grasp and hold the collar of the chuck
with one hand, while rotatingchuck body counter-
clockwise with your other hand.
Do not use a wrench to tighten or loosen the
chuck jaws.
Rotate lever on back of housing in the direction of
the arrow as shown in figure 9.

CLUTCH
Your drill-driver is equipped with an electronic torque
adjustment for driving different types of screws into
different materials. The proper setting depends on the
type of material and the size of screw you are using.

See Figure 10.
Holding drill-driver in normal operating position, rotate
the torque selector in the direction of the (+) to in-
crease torque. Rotate torque selector in the direction
of the (-) to decrease torque.
