    ASSEMBLY STEP Assemble the Rail To avoid installation difficulties, do not run the garage door opener until instructed to do so. 1. Turn the opened rail carton upside down and empty its contents onto a level work surface. 2. Unfold the rails, taking care to avoid kinking the screw rod joints.
  • Page 9 Assemble the Rail (Continued) 4. Beginning with the sprocket end, straighten the three rail sections so that the screw rod is in a straight line at the joints. (Avoid handling the joints, which may have sharp edges.) 5. Carefully slide the pins at the top edge of the rail into the openings on the adjacent rail.
