Cause/Solution
The HP EFC Manager lost the network connection to the HP
EFC Server. Restart the HP EFC Manager to connect to the HP
EFC Server.
Configurations sent from the host may be overwritten by HP
EFCM. Continuing will activate the current configuration, which
may have been configured by an S/390 host.
A file I/O error occurred. The log file could not be saved to the
specified destination. Ensure filename and drive are correct.
The selected file is not a firmware file. Obtain a valid firmware
file from your service representative.
Dump files could not be removed from server. Link may be down
or director may be busy. Retry the operation later. If the
condition persists, contact support personnel.
Port diagnostics could not be stopped. Link may be down or
director may be busy. Retry the operation later. If the condition
persists, contact support personnel.
Firmware could not be written to flash memory. Try again. If
problem persists, contact support personnel.
Within the address configuration, one or more of the port names
are the same as the CUP name. Make sure all names are
unique for the ports and CUP name.
Cause/Solution
Date entered incorrectly. Verify that the number of days in the
month is valid.
Device application is not terminated. Terminate device
application before running port diagnostics
