Subject tracking begins once you
select a subject to be focused on,
and the focus area will move and
follow the subject. See "Subject
Tracking Mode (Focusing on a
Moving Subject)" (_I640).
_1_ Notes on AF Area Mode
• When the digital zoom is in effect, the camera _cuses on the su_ect at the center of the frame
regardless of the applied AF area mode option.
• in some rare casesof shooting subjects for which autofocus does not perform asexpected (_31),
the subject may not be in focus.
• This feature may not be used in combination with certain features. See"Features That Cannot Be
Used Simultaneously" (_63)
