Oe Protect
Press the [] button (Playbackmode) "_ MENU b utton (_I I ) -_ 011Protect
Protect selected pictures from accidental deletion.
In the picture selection screen, choose a picture and set or cancel protection. See
"The Image Selection Screen" (_47) for more information.
Note, however, that formatting the camera's internal memory or the memory card
permanently erases the protected files (_'_78).
Protected pictures are recognized by the @z icon in playback mode (_8).
