The Movie Menu
Recording Movies in Slow Motion and Fast Motion (HS Movie)
Display theshooting screen -_ MENU button _ _/Movie/tab/_11/-_ Movie options
HS (high speed) movies carl be recorded. Movies recorded using HS movie carl be
played back in slow motion at 1/8, 1/4 or 1/2 of normal playback speed, or played
back in fast motion at a speed two times faster than normal speed. While
recording movies, the camera can be switched from normal speed movie
recording to slow motion or fast motion movie recording.

Use the multi selector to select HS movie
(_53) and press the _) button.
• Press the MENU button after changing the settings and
return to the shooting screen.

Press the • (*_ movie-record) button to start HS movie options
recording.
• The monitor is turned offfor a moment, and then the HS
movie recording starts.
• The camera focuses at the center of the frame. Focus
areas are not displayed during recording.
• When recording movies with 7"_ HS 60 fps
(I 280x720) or 1"_ HS I 5 fps (1920x1080), monitor
display changes to at] aspect ratio of 16:9. When recording normal
