20 OPERATING
Engine Inclination
This engine will operateconlJnuously a t anglesup
to 25 ° in any direction.
Refer to the operating instmc'donsof the equip-
ment this engine powers. Because of equipment
design or application,there may be more stringent
restrictions regardingthe angle of operation+
CAUTION
Do not operate this engine continuously at
angles exceeding 25Q in any direction. En-
gine damage could result front insufficient
lubricaf_on.

Stopping the Engine
Ordinary Stop
• Move throttle lever (A) to SLOW position.
• Lowerthe engine speed to an idle. Keep running
at idle for about one minute.
CAUTION
Engine damage can occur from run.on or
after-burning If engine is stopped suddenly
fi'om high speed loaded operation. Reduce
engine speed to Idle for one minute before
shutting engine off.
•Tum the engine switchor the switchkey to "OFF"
For Control Panel Switch Type, move the throttle
lever against itslow speed end to turns ignitionoff+
• Immediatelytum the engine switc_ or the _,vitc_
key to "OFF" position.
• Close the fuel valve on the equipment.
For Control Panel Switch Type, move the throttle
lever on the equipmentagainst its low speed end.
Moving the lever againstits low speed end turns ig-
nitionoff,

Always remove Engine Key from switch
when leaving equipment unattended or
when equipment i$ not in use.
