5. Move the marquee to match its left edge with the left edges
of the scales.
6. Click the Scan button.
7. Compare the left edges of the scales on the scanned image;
the starting points of the scales should match exactly. If
both scales start at the same line (for example 0), skip to
step 11. Otherwise go to the next step.
