Burner Grates and Center Grate
Porcelain

grates and the
xent grille should
be washed
regularly
and, of com_e,
atter spilloxe_.

them in hot, soapy water and
rinse with clean water: You may also use
abrasive
cleane_
and scouring
pads to
clean burner
grates and the vent grille.
D_' the grates and grille with a cloth--
don't
put them back on the cooktop
wet.
To get rid of burned-on
toad,
place the
grates and grille in a covered
containe_:
Add l/4
cup ammonia
and let them soak
several hom_ or overnight.

rinse
well and d_'.
_Mthough
they're
durable,
the grates
and grille will gradually
lose their shine,
regardless
ot the best care you can give
them.
This is due to their continual
exposm'e
to high temperatures.
Do not operate
a burner
for an extended
period
of time without
cookware
on the
grate. The finish on the grate ma) chip

replace
the center
grille
fi_t. Replace
the side grates so that the
notches
lock over the tabs on the center

teet on the burner
grates.

rubber
teet should
become
damaged

lost, replace
them immediately.

Oven Light Bulbs
NOTE,"The glass cover should be
removed only when cold. Wearing latex
gloves may offer a better grip.
CAUTION. Before replacing
your
oven light bulb, disconnect
the electrical
power to the oven at the main fuse or
circuit breaker panel
Be sure to let the light coxer and bulb
cool completely.
For yam" salet_ do not touch a hot bulb
with bare hands or a damp
cloth.
Toremove:

Turn the glass coxer
counterclockwise
l/4 turn until the
tabs at the glass taxer
clear the
grooxes
of the socket.

Using gloxes or a dry cloth, relnoxe
the bulb b) Imllin("_ it straight
out.
Toreplace:

Use a new 130-\olt halogen
bulb,
not t() exceed
50 watts.

Using gloxes or a dry cloth
remoxe
the bulb fl'om its packaging.
Do not
touch the bulb with bare finge_s.

Push the bulb straight
into the
receptacle
all the way.

Place the tabs of the glass cover into
the grooves
of the socket. Tm'n the
glass cover clockwise
1/4 turn to
engage.
For improved
lighting
inside
the oven, clean the glass cover
fl'equenfly
using a wet cloth. This
should
be done
when the oven is
c(mq)letely
co()l.

Reconnect
electrical
power to
the oven.
