MAINTENANCE
Clean the print head frequently to ensure optimum printing petforrnance. To clean
the print head, first disconnect the telephone line, then unplug the power lead, open
the printing compartment cover (grasp the finger hold on the right side of the cover
and pull up), and remove the imaging film.
Wipe the print head, frame and roller
with a soft cloth dampened with dena-
tured alcohol.

Caution!
. Do not use benzene or thinner. Avoid touching the pn"nthead with hard objects.
. Theprint head maybe hot if your fax machine has just received a large number
of documents. If this is the case, allow the print head to cool prior to cleaning.
