• Expand the shutter frames (fully) on each side
end secure the top of the frames to the window
sash using one 3/4" screw & flat washer on
each side. Fig. B
• lnstatl shutter clamp on each side of the (lower)
shutter and secure to window sttl using one
3/4" screw & flat washer on each side. Fig.8
• Cul the second foam seal to fit the opening
between the top of the inside and outside
window. (Fig, 9.)

sealing around the window and air conditioner.
Check for any air leaks and seal where
necessary,
, Under very humid conditions, water removal
may be excessive enough to overflow from the
rear of the unit or increase noise levels of the
air conditioner. If this occurs, consider attaching
a standard drain (garden) hose (not
Included) to the dratn plug at the rear of the
unit, alFowlng condensation to run off
conveniently. (Fig. 10.)
