View Volume Groups for Path Information

The View Volume Groups window allows you to manage the relationship between
system LUNs and volume groups to improve performance. You can:

View Volume Group Information in Tree View

Detailed path information is available in the tree view. From the Storage tab,
select Volume Groups, then the tree view (second icon to the right of Actions).
The tree view shows the following information for each volume group:

Create a New Volume Group
Edit Selected Volume Group
Delete Selected Volume Group
Test Selected Path
Repair Volume Group
Reset LUN Paths to Factory Settings
Refresh the View
View Volume Group Information in Table View
The list of volume groups, packages (HA systems only), LUNs, and paths
The current state of packages, volume groups, and preferred paths. (LUNs do
not have a state.)
— Package states (HA systems only) are Running, Stopped, Failed Over,
Unknown, or Inactive.
If the package is being used by another node, you will see Running (on
<node name>) as the package state. To edit any volume group, LUN, or
path on that package, you must stop the package and make the package
local to your node.
— Volume group states are Active or Inactive
— Preferred path states are Active, Available, Failed, or Unknown
Current mode of the paths: Preferred, Alternate, Preferred Off-line, or
Alternate Off-line
Path initiator's (HBA's) world wide name
Path target's (storage controller's) world wide name
