GUIDE TO SUBMITTING JOBS FROM THE CLIENT
This section describes the steps for installing the Xerox Document
Submission Client Software and the appropriate PPD (PostScript
Printer Description) file.
Before installing the software, make sure your computer has the
following hardware and software:
2 MB of Random Access Memory (RAM)
A properly configured network card, or a bridge from localTalk
to the network
A 3.5-inch, 1.4-MB diskette drive
A hard drive
AppleShare version 2.0 or above
System 7.0 or greater
EtherTalk, version 1.0 or above
Ethernet software that is associated with your Ethernet card
Apple LaserWriter Driver, version 7.11 or higher. Version 8.0 or
higher is recommended for use with PPD files, since earlier
version do not recognize PPD files.
Note: You cannot run the print job submission utility if you have the
QuickDraw GX environment installed.
