AUDIO SELECTION CONSIDERATIONS
The last line of the Channel/Time/Audio Mode display
shows.the current audio heard. The display is shown each
time you turn the TV ON, change channels, or press
ENTER. The audio heard depends on the following:.
• AUDIO mode selected on AUDIO Menu: STEREO,
MONO or 2ND AUDIO/SAP.
• Audio signal received.
• Whether SEO is ON or OFF.
NOTE: Your AUDIO mode selection can override the
type of audio being received, and thus provide an unex-
pected result. For example, if you select MONO, you will al-
ways produce monaural for the speakers even if the signal
received is stereo.

STEREO is selected using the
AUDIO option on the
AUDIO Menu and a stereo
signal is received. You will
hear stereo sound. The Chan-
nel/Time/Audio Mode display
will show STEREO.
MONO is selected using the
AUDIO option on the
AUDIO Menu and a stereo
signal is received.You will hear
monaural sound. The Chan-
neFTime/Audio Mode display
will show MONO.
STEREO is selected using the
AUDIO option on the
AUDIO Menu and a stereo
signal is received. SEQ is
turned ON. The Channel/Time
/Audio Mode display will show
SEO.
