Before Starting to Print

Read this chapter after connecting the printer to your computer
and installing the printer software.
This chapter describes the basic steps you should take every
time you print: load paper, check your print settings, then send
print data.

Loading Paper

The following procedure describes how to load plain paper
into the printer.
You can also print on ink jet paper, transparencies,
photo-quality glossy film or paper, envelopes, index cards,
continuous paper, banner paper, EPSON Back Light film, and
adhesive sheets. For details on using such media, see Chapter
7, "Paper Handling."
1. Make sure the paper-release lever is set to the single sheet
position.
