Low Battery Indicator
When the Battery Pack in the Handset is very Iow and needs to be charged,
the TALKlBATT L OWLED flashes every 3 seconds. If this occurs while you are
on the phone, a short alert beep will also sound. When this happens,
complete your call as quickly as possible, and return the Handset to the
Base Unit for charging. Allow 12 to 16 hours for Handset to recharge. When
the battery is Iow, only the TALKbutton will function.
Using Your XC 320
Selecting Pulse or Tone Dialing (available on
Australian Models only)
The XC 320 can be set for either Pulse Dialing or Tone Dialing, depending
on your local service. Most telephone systems will accept Pulse Dialing.
Many phone companies charge extra for the convenience and speed of
Tone Dialing, as well as other electronic calling services. Contact your local
telephone company for more information.
To set the phone for Tone or Pulse Dialing, place the TONE/PULSE switch on
the Base Unit in the proper position.
Setting the Handset Ringer Tone
Press the FLASH/A. TONE button on the Handset to select either of two ringer
sounds.
(Note: This sets
the ringer tone only when the phone is not in use.)
Setting the Handset Ringer Volume
Press the VOLUME/A. VOLbutton on the Handset to select either high or Iow
ringer volume.

This sets the ringer volume only when the phone is not
in use.)
