Getting a Steady Picture
You can use the Steady
Shot function
to compensate
for camera-shake.
Set STEADY SHOT to ON.
The _'ill" indicator
appears
in the viewfinder
and the {{11)) i ndicator
appears
in the display
window.
Use Steady

you zoom
in

scenery
from a car window

while
moving

Function
Set STEADY
SHOT to OFF.
Notes on using Steady
Shot
• To conserve
the battery,
set STEADY SHOT to OFF when you don't need it. When it is set to ON,
battery power
is used up more quickly.
• Steady
Shot will not correct
excessive
camera
movement.
• When you shoot stationary
objects
with a tripod,
set STEADY
SHOT to OFF.

While you are recording,
press DATE (+) or TIME (NEXT). The date or time displayed
in the viewfinder
is
recorded
with the picture. You cannot record the date and time at the same time. Except for the date or
time indicator,
no indicator
in the viewfinder
is recorded.

To Stop Recording
with the Date and Time
Press DATE (+) or TIME (NEXT) again. The date or time indicator disappears. The recording continues.
