Beforelubricating, repairing,or inspecting, disengageall controls
land stop engine.Wait untilall movingparts havecome to a complete

Be sureengine is uprightand level.
2.
Unscrewoil fill capfrom oil fillertube and wipedipstickclean.
3.
Screwoil fill capback into oil filler tube.Tightensecurely.
4.
Unscrewand removeoil fill cap from oil filler tube. Noteoil level.
If oil readingon dipstick is below"ADD"mark,slowlyadd oil to
reach"FULL"level.See Figure12.
5.
Screwoil fill capback into oil filler tube.Tightensecurely.
6.
Wipeawayany spilledoil.

Locatethe oil drain plug.See Figure13.

Be surethe gas cap is on and istightenedsecurely.
3.
Cleanareaaroundoil drain plug.
4.
Placeapprovedrecyclableoil containerunderoil drain plug.
5.
Removeoil drain plugand drainoil.
NOTE:Usedoil mustbe disposedof at a propercollectioncenter.

Installoil drain plugand tightensecurely.
Refill the enginewith recommended oil. See Recommended Oil
Usagechart.The engine'soil capacityis 21 ounces.
