TROUBLE

Defective spark plug
Replace spark plug
Water or dirt in fuel system
Use carburetor bowl drain to flush
and refill with fresh fuel.
Engine runs
Blocked fuel line or low on fuel
Clean fuel line; check fuel supply;
erratically
tank or stale gasoline
add fresh fuel (gasoline/oil mix
tura if 2-cycle engine).
Engine stalls
Unit running on CHOKE
Move choke lever to OFF position.
Engine runs
Water or dirt in fuet system
Use carburetor bowl, drain to flush
erratically;
& refill with fresh fuel.

Loose parts; damaged impeller
Stop engine immediately and dis
Excessive
connect spark plug wire. Tighten
vibration
all bolts and make all necessary
repairs. If vibration continues, have
the unit serviced by a Craftsman
service repairman.

Check auger drive belt, replace if
necessary.
Adjust auger control cable.
i Replace with shear pin found in
tool box located on belt cover.
Stop engine immediately and dis
connect spark plug wire. Clean dis
charge chute and inside of auger
housing.
Stop engine immediately and dis
connect spark plug wire. Remove
object from auger.
