Measure width betweenwindow
moldings to ensureinstant M ount
will fit window frame. InstantMount

instant M ountkitsupplied with unit
is designed for mounting in most
double-hungwindows without
stormwindows.
For installation in
window flame with stormwindow,
modify sill by adding wood strips to
inner and outer sills.Thisraises
unitand eliminatesinterferenceof
storm window frame.
Stormwindow installation
If stormwindow frame doesnot allow
adequateclearance belowsill(1/2"
required), removestorm window
frame or createclearanceby addinga
woodstrip(at least I 1/2" wide) along
entirewidth of sill.Fasten wood strip
to sillwith at leastthreecountersunk
woodscrews (notsupplied with kit).
Thisprovides a smooth surfacefor
mounting air conditioner.
