    A. The SP75 Plus card printer is field upgradeable for magnetic stripe encoding, smart card options, and 200 card input hopper by a Datacard® Authorized Service Provider; however, the laminator option is not field upgradeable. The High Capacity Output Hopper is field upgradeable by an end user.

The Datacard standard warranty covers print ribbon problems for up to one year when they are kept in their recommended storage environment. Ribbons used with other Datacard printers do not contain the new core design and the RF tag that provides enhanced printer features such as Ribbon Saver and auto ribbon detect.
