2.14 Thread trimmer

2.14.1

Mechanical part

Caution: Risk of injury!
Turn off the main switch.
Check an set the thread trimmer only with the sewing machine
switched off.
Standard checking
The hollow shaft in the arm should have no play.
–
Unscrew the plate 3.

Check the play of the hollow shaft.
Correction
–
Unclamp the spring on the cylinder 4.
–
Loosen the screws 5 and remove the cylinder 4.
–
Arrest the hollow shaft using the locking pin 6.
–
Loosen the adjustment ring screw 2.
–
Tighten the adjustment ring 1 completely to the right and fasten the
screw 2.
–
Loosen the clamping block 7.
–
Tighten the clamping block to the left and fasten the screw.
The roller 8 must at the same time lie against the highest place of
the control cam.
Please note:
Mount the plate 3 and proceed to the setting according to
chapter 2.3.3.
