2.3.7 Neutralizing the feed dog stroke

Caution: Risk of injury!
Turn off the main switch.
The removal of the slide for the feed dog should only be done with
the sewing machine switched off.
The feed dog stroke can be neutralized through removing the slide 7
for example for binding operations.

Remove the cover 1, throat plate 3, feed dog 4 and throat plate
base 5.

Remove the slide 7.
For this purpose, unscrew both screws 6 and take out the slide 7.

Replace the throat plate base 5 against the throat plate base
0669 200204.
(The throat plate base is part of the sewing equipment 669- E4/6
and 669- E 5/6).

With machines equipped with thread trimmer, screw on the counter
knife 2 and set the cutting pressure (see chapter 2.14.4).

Screw on the feed dog 4, throat plate 3 and cover 1.
