Deleting orphan files and resubmitting jobs to MVS Download

Orphaned files are old files left in the Windows file system because you specified
the Keep CMD file for Resubmitting Jobs check box when you started the MVS
Download receiver to submit the jobs, and errors prevented InfoPrint from
processing these print jobs. Their file names follow the MVS Download Destination
Control file naming format:
MVS_system_name.job_name.dataset_name.forms_name.yyddd.hhmmsstABCD.PRD
Because orphan files can cause performance problems, you should either correct
the problem that prevented the job from processing and then resubmit the job to
MVS Download, or delete the orphan files from the system.

Deleting orphaned files from the system

Orphan files should only occur when there's an error. If you do not want to
identify and correct errors, delete all files that are older than some site-determined
period, such as three days.
To manually delete individual files:
