Configuring the SCSI Bus
You can configure a SCSI bus using either:
SCSISelect — for use with Internal Wide 16-bit SCSI devices

& HP FastRAID (Adaptec), or
SCSI Configuration Utility — for use with External and Internal
•
16/8-bit SCSI devices (Symbios).
Using SCSI Select
™
The SCSISelect
utility is intended for advanced users only.
Note that the SCSISelect option displayed on your screen may
be different to the one described here. Some options are not
displayed if the HP FastRAID option is installed.
The SCSISelect utility is accessed by pressing
computer's start-up process when the message
SCSISelect(TM) Utility!
The Options menu is displayed.
Would you like to configure the host adapter, or run the
SCSI disk utilities? Select the option and press <Enter>.
Press <F5> to switch between color and monochrome modes.
Configure/View Host Adapter Settings
Arrow keys to move cursor, <Enter> to select option, <Esc> to exit
is displayed.
