Installing a Processor
If you want to install a faster processor, remove the one supplied with
the computer. If two processors are to be installed, ensure that they are
both the same speed (frequency).
7 Insert the VRM for the processor in the VRM socket.
8 Reconnect the fan to the system board and replace the fan. To avoid
damaging the floppy disk drive's cable, ensure that it is securely
attached to the fan's guide.
Ensure floppy drive's data cable is securely positioned in the fan's data cable guides.
9 Replace the power supply and the HP UltraFlow airflow guide.
