Adding Platform-Support to your Deployment Database
If, after setting up your HP ConfigTailor 1.1 deployment database, you
find you need to add support for additional HP Kayak PC Workstation
models, you can do so by:
1 Follow steps 1—4 of "Upgrading from HP ConfigTailor 1.0 to HP
ConfigTailor 1.1" on page 39.
2 At the "Platform Selection" screen of the Installation procedure,
select the new platforms you wish to support. Click Next.
3 At the Select Operating System screen, you do not need to select an
operating system language version (unless you wish to add a new
language version at this time). Click Next.
4 The drivers for the selected platforms will be copied from the HP
ConfigTailor CD-ROM to your deployment database.
5 The deployment database is now ready to support the platform
selected. It is recommended that you create new configuration
profiles and software lists for the new HP Kayak PC Workstation
models.
