2) Installing the BJ cartridge
Open the front cover of the printer and flip up the cartridge lock lever. Insert the BJ
cartridge into the carriage and push down the cartridge lock lever to lock the
cartridge in place. When you close the front cover , the carriage moves to the capping
position.
NOTE
Figure 3-6 BJ Cartridge Handling Precautions
If the BJ cartridge is not installed properly when you close the front cover ,
the carriage will not return to the capping position. If the front cover is not
closed properly, the carriage will not return to the home position either.
