Restoring Your Computer
Samsung Recovery Solution II operates as follows when the computer is used for the
first time. You have to create a backup of the factory status according to the following
procedures immediately after purchasing the computer to use the restoration function.
The overall procedures will be described here. For more detailed information on steps
3, 4 and 5, see p.194.

for the first time.

Setting Up Procedures
Turn on the power for the first time after purchasing the computer.
If you turn the power on for the first time, the Register Windows
screen appears.
If you register Windows according to the instructions on the screen,
the computer will be restarted.
When the computer is restarted, the partition disk screen appears
for the efficient use of disk space.
The partition disk function is only available when turning
the computer on for the first time and will not be available
thereafter.
Once you have completed the partitions, you cannot resize
the partitions.
Therefore partition the disk carefully.
When the partitioning is complete, a screen appears which allows
you to backup the factory status of drive C to drive D.
This is a required step for backing up the factory status of drive C
for the normal operation of Samsung Recovery Solution II.
