2. Label the control unit and voice terminal ends of the cord(s).
3. Plug the D8AF Cord(s) into the "Voice Terminals" jack on the front of the control unit
with the corresponding intercom number(s). See Figure 9B.

4. If voice terminal cabling is not required, go to the "Installing the Voice Terminals" sec-
tion.
B. Voice Terminal Cabling
This section provides instructions for using the optional voice terminal cable as an alternate
method of installing your system. When this section is completed, you will have a jack near
the location of each voice terminal in the system, and a corresponding jack near the control
unit. D8W cords will then be used to connect the jacks to the control unit and the voice ter-
minals respectively, as shown in Figure 10.
