NOTE:
To utilize your vehicle effi-
ciently, avoid operating the engine at un-
necessary high speeds. To optimize fuel
efficiency, the vehicle should be shifted
to the next highest gear position at the
proper engine/road speed. This will de-
crease operational noise and help re-
duce environmental pollution.
NOTE: The engine is also at risk if it is
operated at too low an engine speed. It
should be shifted to a lower gear posi-
tion in order to maintain the proper en-
gine speed.
NOTE: The engine must be at normal
operating temperature before operating
the engine at high speed.

Recommendations

The brakes cannot provide the ideal
friction to stop during the vehicle's
first 200 km of operation. You should
depress the brake pedal firmly to in-
crease friction and improve stopping
capability.

Tire and Wheel Break-In

Recommendations
New tires require a brief break-in pe-
riod. Your vehicle should be driven
slowly and especially carefully within
the first 100 km of driving.
Vehicle wheel nuts must be re-
tightened to the specified torque after
the first 800 km of driving. Also, when
a wheel has been replaced or after
wheel nuts have been loosened, they
must be re-tightened to the specified
torque after driving 800 km.
