DHCP Error 1
DHCP Error 2
DHCP Error 3
DHCP Error 4
The wireless phone's DHCP
lease has expired, and the call
(if any)cannot continue.
A NACK (Negative
ACKnowledge)was received
from the DHCP server.
The wireless phone is in a
critical section of the software
update.
The wireless phone has
detected another device with
its same IP address.
Download process failed to
erase the memory in the
wireless phone.
The wireless phone cannot locate
a DHCP server. It will try every 4
seconds until a server is located.
The wireless phone has not
received a response from the
server for a request to an IP
address. It will retry until a server
is found.
The server refuses to lease the
wireless phone an IP address. It
will keep trying.
The server offered the wireless
phone a lease that is too short.
The minimum lease time is 10
minutes but Spectralink
recommend at least one hour
minimum lease time. The wireless
phone will stop trying. Re-
configure the server and power
cycle the wireless phone.
The wireless phone failed to
renew its DHCP lease, either
because the DHCP server is not
running, or because the
configuration has been changed
by the administrator. The wireless
phone will attempt to negotiate a
new lease, which will either work,
or change to one of the above
DHCP errors (1-4).
The DHCP lease currently in use
by the wireless phone is no longer
valid, which forces the wireless
phone to restart. This problem
should resolve itself on the restart.
If it does not, the problem is in the
DHCP server.
None. Do not remove the battery
or attempt to power off the phone
while this is displayed. Doing so
may require the phone to be
returned to Avaya to be
recovered.
If using DHCP, check that the
DHCP server is properly
configured to avoid duplicate
addresses. If using static IP,
check that the wireless phone was
assigned a unique address.
Operation will retry but may
eventually report the error "int.
error: 0F" Power cycle the phone.
