Press each button on the touch panel to enter the following contact information.
[FIRST NAME] — Press this button to enter the first name of the contact. This name will appear in the address
book list on the touch panel.
[LAST NAME] — Press this button to enter the last name of the contact. This name will appear in the address book
list on the touch panel.
[FAX NO.] — Press this button to enter the fax number of the contact.
[2ND FAX] — Press this button to enter the second fax number of the contact.
[E-MAIL] — Press this button to enter the e-mail address of the contact.
[CORP.] — Press this button to enter the company name of the contact.
[DEPT.] — Press this button to enter the department name of the contact.
[KEYWORD] — Press this button to enter a keyword for the contact. This keyword can be used to search for this
contact.
You must at least enter either [FIRST NAME] or [LAST NAME], and either [FAX NO.] or [E-MAIL] to register
the contact.
Press [PAUSE] on the touch panel to enter "-" in [FAX NO.] and [2ND FAX]. If you enter "-" in them, a three-
second pause is added for dialing the fax number.
When you press each button, the on-screen keyboard is displayed. Enter the value using the on-screen
keyboard and digital keys and press [OK] to set the entry.

Press [OPTION] to specify the default settings for a fax transmission.
This is available only when the FAX Unit (optional) is installed.
For details on the settings, refer to the GD-1250/GD-1260/GD-1270 Operator's Manual for FAX Unit.

Press [OK] to register the contact.
The contact is registered in the address book.
