TV Type—You can select:
• NTSC—Displays the TV type. This information
is for display only. You cannot change this
option.

Note
This menu is only available when your TV/DVD
combo is in DVD mode and playback is stopped or no
disc is inserted.
Audio—Selects the audio language for the DVD, if
the DVD was recorded in multiple languages.
Subtitle—Turns subtitles on or off and selects the
DVD subtitle language, if the DVD was recorded
with subtitles.

Disc Menu—Selects the language for the DVD
menu if the DVD was recorded with multiple menu
languages.

Parental—Sets the parental control rating level.
When you select a level, DVDs recorded with the
selected rating level or a higher rating level cannot
be viewed. You can select:
• KIDSAFE
• G
• PG
• PG 13
• PGR
• R
• NC 17
• ADULT

Password—Lets you set or change the parental
control password. You must enter the password to
set the parental rating level and to view DVDs with
a locked rating level.

To change the password:
1 Select Password, then press
Change and press OK. The password screen
opens.
2 Use the number buttons on the remote control
to enter the old password in the Old Password
box. The default password is (0000). If you
forget your password, enter 9999.
3 Press to move to the New Password box,
then enter a new password.
4 Press to move to the Confirm PWD box, then
enter the new password again.
