3.2 Telephone Features

Call Waiting from a Central Office

During a conversation, a Call Waiting tone offered by your Central Office signals you
that there is a call waiting. You can respond to the call by placing the first call on hold.

While hearing a Call Waiting tone
through the handset
FLASH/RECALL
Press FLASH/RECALL.
• The current call is placed on hold.
Conditions
PT • You can return to the original party by pressing the FLASH/RECALL button again.
SLT • You can return to the original party by repeating the steps above.
SLT • If "Hold-3" is assigned in System Programming, you must dial "20" after flashing the
hookswitch.
