Recording Images, Videos and Voices
Using D-Lighting Mode
Active D-Lighting mode preserves details in highlights and shadows, creating photos with natural
contrast. Use for high contrast scenes, for example, when photographing brightly light outdoor
scenery through a door/window, or taking pictures of shaded subjects on a sunny day. With this
feature, the adjustment of contrast is accomplished in-camera and requires no additional post-
processing for the bulk of images.
Using Fisheye Lens Mode
The Fisheye Lens mode applies a
hemispherical effect on the photos to
make them look more interesting.

Using Voices Recording

1 From the Scene menu, select Voice REC. The Voice Recording
screen layout is displayed on the LCD monitor.
2 Press the Shutter button to start recording.
3 Press the Shutter button again to stop recording.
Photo Size
The Photo Size function is used to set the resolution before you
capture the image. Changing the Photo Size affects the number of
images that can be stored in your memory card. The higher the
resolution, the more memory space is required. This function also
allows you to put multiple images within a saved image.
The table below shows the Photo Size values for still images.
