Enhanced Transparency and Object Effects
You now have more flexibility in formatting
your objects, because transparency settings
and new object effects (similar to those found in
Photoshop) can be applied separately to the fill,
stroke, and text of a single object. The new effects
include blending modes, gradient and directional
feathers, and bevels and embosses, all of which
are non-destructive and can create complex
effects without altering your native image files.
