Batching Tools
Bridge offers several batch tools
to help you modify your images.
These tools can be accessed in
the Tools menu. They are sorted by
application.
• Send multiple image files
to Illustrator to batch-Live
Trace them, which produces
vectorized images.
• Send files to Photoshop to
batch-convert images into web-
ready assets, or to create contact
sheets, or PDF presentations.
• Batch-rename assets based
on metadata attributes such as
color profile and resolution.

• Auto-download images
from your camera, batch-
apply metadata templates,
and convert the images to DNG.
Batch tools list
Photo Downloader
New to Bridge, Photo Downloader
allows you to automate the
process of downloading photos
directly from your camera or
card reader.

Connect your camera or card
reader, and, in Bridge:
• click the Photo Downloader in
the Autoplay window (Windows);
or
• choose File > Get Photos From
Camera (Mac OS).

If you want to automatically
launch Photo Downloader each
time you connect your device,
select Yes when prompted.

Select your Source and Import
Settings from the dialog box.

Click Get Photos, and your
photos will appear in Bridge.
