The following table shows toner cartridge-related error messages. The messages
are generated via data stored in the EEPROM in the toner cartridge.

Toner Empty
Drum Warning
Replace Drum

Description
The amount of remaining
toner is less than 10%.
The toner cartridge is empty.
OPC drum is near end of life
(14,000 pages).
Toner cartridge mechanical
life has expired.

Solution
Replace the cartridge.
Replace the cartridge.
Replace the cartridge even if
there is still toner in it.
Replace the cartridge.
