Known Issues

If you are logging into the UNIX box remotely, you may not use the
Manage HP NetStorage 6000 or the Reset HP NetStorage 6000 menu
items. To access the HP NetStorage, you must:
Open up the web browser on the machine you are using.

In the URL, type in the IP address of the HP NetStorage 6000.

To mount the HP-UX CDROM:
The CD can be read correctly only with a pfs_mount-ed CD-ROM
command.

At the console, start the following background processes
(& = background process):
> pfs_mountd&
> pfsd&
Verify such background processes exist with:

> ps -ef | grep pfs

At the console, enter:
> pfs_mount /cdrom
or
> pfs_mount <device-file> /cdrom
Verify the CD-ROM is mounted by entering:

> bdf
When finished, unmount the CD-ROM with the command:

> pfs_umount /cdrom
To uninstall the integration pack:

Go to the directory where the unistall.sh files resides by typing
cd "$CAIGLBL0000/hpns6000"

Run the uninstall.sh file by entering:
./uninstall.sh
Restart the NetView user interface. The next time NetView discovers

the HP NetStorage 6000 device, it is properly represented on your map.

If the HP NetStorage 6000 trap definitions do not load into NetView,
then the NetView environment is not in setup in the specified location.
The path to the NetView executables must be in the system path
environment variable.
