Fan

1 ) Press ▲▼ to select [Fan] and then
Press <SELECT> button.
2 ) Press ▲▼ to select one option .
This function provides the following options in
z
the cooling fans' operation when the projector is
turned off.
L1
Normal operation
Slower and lower-sound than
the normal operation (L1), but
L2
it takes more time to cool the
projector down.

Fan control

1 ) Press ▲▼ to select [Fan control] and
then Press <SELECT> button.
2 ) Press ▲▼ to select one among
options as below.
Choose the running speed of cooling fans from
z
the following options according to the ground
elevation under which you use the projector.
Off Normal speed.*
On1 Faster than [Off] mode.*
On2 Faster than [On 1] mode.*
*1 : Set this function to [Off ] when using the projector
in non-high altitude environment.
*2 : Select this mode when using the projector in high
altitudes (about 1,200 meters or more above
the sea level) where the fans have less cooling
effect.
*3 : Select this mode when using the projector in
higher altitudes (than above where the fans have
lesser cooling effect).
Note
Failure to set the running speed of cooling fans
z
properly may affect the projector life.
The fan noise becomes louder in [On 1] and [On 2].

Video delay control

This function allows you to make a digital processing
of a projected image faster.

Lamp runtime

This function is used to display the cumulative lamp
operating time and reset the lamp runtime.

Show the total accumulated lamp run time.

After replacing the lamp unit, be sure to reset the
timer.

Press ▲▼ to select [Video delay
control] and then press the <SELECT>
button.
Press ▲▼ to select one item between
[On] and [Off ].
[Noise reduction] and [Progressive] cannot be
selected when [Video delay control] function is set
to [On].
Press ▲▼ to select [Lamp runtime]
and then press the <SELECT> button.
Press ►or the <SELECT> button to
access the submenu items.

Lamp runtime

Lamp runtime reset
Press ▲▼ to select [Lamp runtime
reset].
Press the <SELECT> button.
[Lamp runtime Reset?] appears. Select [Yes]
z
to continue. Another confirmation dialog box
appears, select [Yes] to reset the Lamp runtime.
When the lamp runtime is elapsed the estimated
duration, [Lamp runtime] will be displayed in re d
and the Lamp replacement icon (
appear on the screen, indicating that the end of
lamp life is reached. When replacing the lamp unit,
reset the lamp runtime.
