Preview function

When you press the preview button, the
viewfinder shows the actual depth of field (the
distance from the nearest to the furthest point
of perceived "sharp" focus) in a picture, with the
selected aperture value.
Note
● The metering values cannot be changed in the
preview mode.

Exposure compensation

In some situations, you may get better results if you manually compensate (adjust) the
exposure value set automatically by the camera. In many cases, bright subjects (such
as snow) will turn out darker than their natural colors. Adjusting toward + makes these
subjects closer to their real shades. For the same reason, adjust toward – when
shooting dark subjects. The exposure can be adjusted in range of ±5.0 EV. Center
weighted averaging metering (
exposure compensation. The EV step interval can be selected from 1/3EV, 1/2EV or
~
1EV.
