In Regard to the TIME DISPLAY key
This can be used to change the time display type at the MD
recorder section.
Remote control unit
Each press switches the modes as follows.
In stopped condition, during playback, and in PGM stop
condition
1 Elapsed time of track (0:00 indication)
2 Remaining time of track (-0:00 indication)
3 Elapsed time and Recordable time for the entire
minidisc
4 Remaining time for the entire minidisc
In regard to the DOT DISPLAY key
For CD and MD, the display mode of the dot display can be
switched.
Each press switches the modes as follows.
(For discs conforming to CD-TEXT)
1 Disc title display
2 Track title display
3 Recordable time for the MD (only during MD record-
ing)
(For discs not conforming to CD-TEXT)
1 CD disc No.
2 Recordable time for the MD (only during MD record-
ing)
During MD recording
1 Normal display
2 Recordable time for the entire minidisc

÷ Switching to 1 Disc title display and 2 Track title display is done by
pressing the DOT DISPLAY key while the display is moving (during
scroll).
÷ When no track name (track title) and no disc name (disc title) has been
recorded, "NO TITLE" is displayed.

÷ "BLANK DISC" is displayed when not even one track has been re-
corded. (When there is a disc title, the disc title will be displayed.)
