7. OPERATING YOUR NEW 3-IN-1 DRIVE
It is important to familiarize yourself with your new Yamaha CD-RW drive. Please study the
following illustrations and text carefully.

7.1) Front Panel

Disc tray
The tray is used to hold the disc.
It slides out from the drive unit
when a disc needs to be loaded
or unloaded.
Headphone
jack
You can connect
stere headphones
to this stereo mini
jack and listen to
audio CDs loaded
in the drive.

7.2) Loading a Disc

1. Press the eject button to open the tray.
2. Carefully place the disc, label-side up, on the disc tray.
3. Press the eject button again to close the disc tray.
Manual Eject hole
Only use this if no other
method is available for
unloading a disc.
Headphone volume
control
Adjust this control to set a
suitable volume level when
listening to an audio CD
using the headphone jack.
Slide the knob to the left to
decrease the volume and
to the right to increase it.
Eject button
Press this button when you
need to open or close the
tray. Remove the disc after
the tray has opened.
LED
Indicates the
operation status of the
CRW2100 drive.
