8-20. Getting the System Information

Basic Test
When in Satellite mode, diagnoses essential system components of your DIRECTV® HD
Receiver. Once the Basic System Test is done, your HD Receiver's status will be displayed. If
any problems are detected, a short message will be displayed.
To test basic items in the HD Receiver :
1. Press the MENU button on the Remote Control to display the on-screen menu.

9. Press the EXIT button on the remote control to return to TV viewing.
