POWER OUTAGE
POSSIBLE CAUSE
• The oven thermostat needs adjustment. See the Adjust the Oven
Thermostat—Do It Yourself section.
• Range electrical plug must be securely seated in a live power outlet. Check for
blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker.
• Check for power outage.
• Review the Oven Control, Clock and Timer section of this guide that matches
the clock and timer on your range.
• If the time display flashes "F—and a number", you have a function error code.
Press the CLEAR/OFF pad. Allow the oven to cool for one hour. Put the oven
back into operation.
• Disconnect all power to the range for 5 minutes and then reconnect power.
If the failure code repeats, then call for service.
• Disconnect power to the range at the fuse box or circuit breaker for at least
10 seconds. Turn power on, set the clock and power up your range. If the
display remains blank, call for service.
• After a power outage, the display will flash the time of day. Reset the clock
to the correct time of day. If the oven was in use, you must reset it by pressing
the CLEAR/OFF pad, setting the clock and resetting any cooking function.
