Function of remote control

Direct Access Tuning

You can search for a channel directly by entering its
number.

Select Satellite Radio source

Enter the Direct Access Tuning mode
Press the [DIRECT] button on the remote
control.
"– – – –" is displayed.

Enter a channel number
Press the number buttons.

Tune in to the entered channel
Press the [4] or [¢] button.
Canceling the Direct access tuning mode
Press the [DIRECT] button on the remote
control.
• If you operate no button for 10 seconds, the Direct
Access Tuning mode is automatically canceled.

Content alert
When the broadcast of the song by the registered
artist or the broadcast of the registered song starts,
a message appears to allow you to switch the
current source to the desired channel, even though
the receiving source is other than SIriusXM Radio.
Registering contents

Receive the contents you wish to register

Select the Contents registration mode
Press the [ ] button for at least 1 second.

Register the contents
Turn the [VOL] knob to select a contents type
("Store Artist?" or "Store Song?"), and then
press the [VOL] knob.
"Artist Stored" or "Song Stored" is displayed.
• You can register a total of 50 types of contents including
both artists and songs.
When a Content alert occurs

A content alert message is displayed
When multiple content alerts occur, a content
name is displayed one after another. The previous
content name can be displayed and selected by
the operation in step 3.
A content alert message is displayed for five
seconds from the last content alert.
The following switching operation to your desired
content can be performed while the message is
being displayed.

Start selecting a content
Press the [VOL] knob.

Select your desired content of which content
alerts are occurring
Turn the [VOL] knob to select the contents, and
then press the [VOL] knob.
The current source switches to the channel that is
broadcasting the selected content.
Canceling the Content alert mode
Press the [MENU] button.

Content alert setting

You can turn on/off the content alert function.

Select Satellite Radio source

Enter Menu List mode
Press the [MENU] button.

Enter the Alert set mode
Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the
desired item is displayed.
Select "Settings"
>
"Content Alert"
>
"Alert Set".

Turn on or off the Content alert function
Turn the [VOL] knob to select "ON" or "OFF",
and then press the [VOL] knob.

Exit Menu List mode
Press the [MENU] button for at least 1 second,
and then press it again briefly.

Editing a Content alert item

You can enable or disable the registered content
alert item individually.

Select Satellite Radio source

Enter Menu List mode
Press the [MENU] button.

Enter the Content alert item edit mode
Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the
desired item is displayed.
Select "Settings"
>
"Content Alert"
>
"Alert
Item Edit".

Select a contents type
Turn the [VOL] knob to select "Song" or
"Artist", and then press the [VOL] knob.

Select or deselect the selected Content alert
item
Turn the [VOL] knob to select Content alert
item, and then press the [VOL] knob.
The selected Content alert item is selected and
deselected alternately each time you press the
[VOL] knob.
"*" is indicated for the selected item name.

Exit Menu List mode
Press the [MENU] button for at least 1 second,
and then press it again briefly.

Delete a Content alert item

You can delete the registered Content alert item.

Select Satellite Radio source

Enter Menu List mode
Press the [MENU] button.

Enter the Content alert item delete mode
Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the
desired item is displayed.

Select "Settings"
"Content Alert"
"Alert Item Delete".

Select a contents type
Turn the [VOL] knob to select "Song Delete",
"Artist Delete" or "All Delete", and then press
the [VOL] knob.
Selecting "All Delete" allows you to delete all
Content alert items together. Proceed to step 6.

Select the Content alert item you wish to
delete
Turn the [VOL] knob to select Content alert
item, and then press the [VOL] knob.

Determine the selection
Turn the [VOL] knob to select "YES", and then
press the [VOL] knob.
"Completed" is displayed.

Exit Menu List mode
Press the [MENU] button for at least 1 second,
and then press it again briefly.
