6-2 Recording Setting
When a Compact Flash card is installed, the VN-A1U can record
images according to various trigger conditions.
Click the Recording button in the V.NETWORKS Setup Tool window
to display the Recording window as shown below.
CAUTION
The maximum recording time is determined according to the recording frame rate
and image size. With certain image compression rates and objects, it may
sometimes not be possible to record images for the specified period of time.
NOTE
When the compression rate is 2 and the recording frame rate is 30 fps, the total
recording time before and after recording is:
Image size 640 x 480 : Approx. 4 seconds including before and after triggering.
Image size 320 x 240 : Approx. 8 seconds including before and after triggering.
Image size 160 x 120 : Approx. 16 seconds including before and after triggering.

enable them.
Set the recording time before and
after triggering.
Every time a triggering occurs,
CompactFlash records an image
for the period specified here.
